Loretta Hawkins Outreach Ministries is dedicated to providing an array of services to the residents of Palm Beach County. We strive to meet the needs of individuals and families who may be poverty stricken,
in need of food or clothing, or may need support as they cope with the obstacles of life.
This summer, we are excited to implement a 5 week program, aimed for middle school and high school students, entitled “Project16 – Teen Talk Live”. This program will be held June 18 – July 23, 2016 and will be comprised of 40 under privileged youth residing in the West Palm Beach area. During this 5 week program, we will commit ourselves to preparing our youth to successfully conquer the challenges they encounter daily at school, home, and in the community. It is our mission to increase self-confidence, motivate, encourage, and prepare the youth to become productive contributors to society. I am convinced, the youth participating in this program will not exit the program with the same attitude and skill set in which they began. They are certain to gain powerful knowledge and valuable skills through this dynamic, power-packed summer program that will prove itself to leave a positive, long-lasting impression upon their young lives. Topics such as Career Exploration & Job Preparation, College & Vocational Training, Financial Responsibility, Personal Care & Health, and Surviving with Peer Pressure will be included in the program.
